Chasing fish tales and unforgetable moments on this best of both worlds combination trip!
Choose 3 or 4 hours and come along for a memorable and fun mix of fishing and sightseeing. Our fabulous captain will take you out in the local, protected water of Frenchman Bay to favored fishing spots where we jig for smaller fish such as pollock and mackerel – or perhaps codfish, whiting or even black seabass. All tackle is included for fishing and if you like, captain will clean and bag your catch (anything in the legal limits). Or catch and release and just take in the day!
After some fun fishing – cruise over to Egg Rock Lighthouse and see the seals, maybe some eagles and harbor porpoise! On the way back – Acadia National Park will be watching for you to view some of its beauty and highlights along the shoreline! Check out the summer mansions and local islands as you make your way back to the dock.
The Rambler boat takes a maximum of 6 passengers for all private charters. All fishing trips take place in the confines of Frenchman Bay. Feel free to bring along snacks / drinks if you like.
There is a small, clean restroom onboard.
