All Around Sightseeing and Nature Watching Cruise
See the shoreline of Acadia National Park by boat – one of the best ways to view the sights! Cruise by Sand Beach, Thunderhole, Great Head and down to Otter Cliffs and more. Two lighthouses include Egg Rock Light where we find harbor seals often sunning on the rocks or swimming nearby and Mark Island Light on the Winter Harbor side. Take in the vintage summer ‘cottages,’ the local Porcupine Islands, watch as lobstermen pull their traps and look for eagles in the nest or high in the trees as well as other wildlife. Trip is 2 hours – $350.00
Bass Harbor Lighthouse Tour
Description: The most photographed lighthouse in our area! Best experienced by boat – this is a beautiful tour and geared for the photography enthusiast! Go along the coastline of Acadia National Park, up into gorgeous Somes Sound (which is the only fjord on the east coast) as well as having great views of Bear Island Lighthouse, Egg Rock Lighthouse, Bass Harbor Lighthouse, the towns of Manset, Seal Harbor and Southwest Harbor. Another great trip for watching the lobstermen or spotting seals, eagles, osprey, harbor porpoise and whatever else may be in the area for wildlife. Very similar to our regular puffin trip – only more personalized just for you! Travel out to Petit Manan Lighthouse (the second tallest lighthouse in Maine) and hang out with these awesome little birds for a bit! Besides puffins – look for other pelagic birds not easily seen closer to shore such as: razorbills, guillemots, artic turns and others as well as seals, harbor porpoise, eagles and osprey. We cruise by some of the Schoodic Peninsula – as well as Mark Island and Egg Rock Lighthouses. Plenty of time to take some great photos.
